The Engine House - Think Big!

The Engine House, the former power house of the mill, is the ideal site for any major event. At substantial expense, the 170m hall was transformed into a stage for anything from a government reception or a company gala night to a product launch or a rock concert. The hall will hold up to 4,140 guests depending on the type of event.

Engine House infrastructure

The Engine House has a multifunctional set of basic features, which can be customised to suit your needs in connection with the most varied kinds of events.

It has its own architectural illumination and working light, as well as a PA system which is coupled with an alarm that may be used in case of emergency. The event organiser has ultra-modern functional rooms available for stage direction, catering and first aid purposes or to serve as artists' changing rooms. There are enough toilets to serve the needs of visitors, as well as male and female toilet facilities for employees, plus two artists' changing rooms with their own toilets and showers. The entire hall is heated.

The Engine House admits access to lorries, up to a maximum weight of 7.5 tons, by way of a rolling shutter door 4 metres wide and 4 metres high. Its roof is designed to accommodate suspended loads (decorations, spatial partitions, lighting, loudspeaker systems etc.) The letting company offers up to 1,300 upholstered chairs for hire. The chairs are upholstered both on the seat and on the back, and can be folded up or joined together, making them suitable for arrangement in rows.
